Information for Presenters
Format: Each paper should be 20 minutes in length, with a 10 minute window for questions. Please make every effort to adhere to this, so that there is adequate time for questions and comments.
Requests: Due to the anticipated volume of papers, we are not a position to accept requests for a specific timeslot. However, if there are particular and calamitous circumstances that require special arrangements, please let us know as early as possible and we will attempt to help.
Technology etc.: All rooms will have access to the standard facilities (ie. Powerpoint; projectors; internet etc.) . If you do have a Powerpoint, bringing it along on USB drive would be the most expeditious strategy. Having an accessible online copy (ie. email; Dropbox) would also be a good idea.

Poster Presentations
Following on from last year, AMPHORAE VIII will be offering the option for delegates to present their work as a poster. This would be an ideal opportunity for those who lack the time to prepare a full paper, including possibly Honours students, to get involved. In this case, you will need to prepare an A1 or A2 poster which exhibits your research. It is not expected that you would provide a formal presentation, but please be prepared to talk briefly about your research in a casual session.
Please indicate on the registration form if you will be presenting a poster, and submit an abstract in accordance with the guidelines above.

Honours Students
Honours students are welcome to attend and present at AMPHORAE. It is important to note, however, that the presentation of a full paper is a significant commitment. It is advisable to consult with a supervisor before deciding upon this. One alternative might be to consider a poster presentation, for which see the Registration page.
Travel Subsidies
ASCS is again making available a number of grants to help defray the cost of travel to and from AMPHORAE. The subsidy is not intended to cover the entire cost of travel - most subsidies will be in the range of AU$100-150. Those traveling from overseas and those with limited or no funding from their university will be more likely to secure a subsidy at the higher end of the scale. Preference for a bursary will be given to those offering a paper.
To apply for a grant, please complete the Travel Subsidy form and submit it to the ASCS via the following email address '[email protected]' , by 3rd October.
